Liquid Roof Overlay
Refurbishing a tired, leaking office roof with a cold-applied liquid system and new rooflights, no full strip-off, no disruption below.

The problem
An office roof was suffering water ingress that affected the working environment below. The felt-and-chippings roof had aged, and the existing dome rooflights had become brittle, all needing refurbishment without disrupting the offices underneath.
The solution
We proposed a liquid overlay rather than a costly strip-off. The chippings were cleared and the felt cleaned and prepared, then an IKO Polimar system, a base layer with reinforcement matting and a UV-stable topcoat, was applied. The old rooflights were replaced with new triple-skin polycarbonate domes, letting more natural light into the building.
